What you’ll do

You will act as the principal technical steward of multiple company-wide SaaS applications. You will act as a solutions architect and strategist for the SaaS applications and services that Caribou relies upon. You will take action on escalations from our partner teams.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a final escalation point from IT Analysts for issues with Core Applications
  • Directly integrate (and support efforts to integrate) SaaS applications with other parts of Caribou’s corporate technology stack
  • Automate processes using tools like Bettercloud, Zapier, and Terraform.
  • Partner with teams across Caribou to transition ownership of SaaS applications into the Technology organization
  • Provide clear, analytical technical trade-offs for vendor selection decisions and continued technical POC support over the relationship
What does success look like for this role?
  • You are the subject matter expert and point of contact for the various SaaS tools here at Caribou. 
  • You drive 100% adoption of SSO for current and future Saas tools
  • You drive 100% adoption of Jira and Jira Service Management as the company-wide ticketing and workflow solution
  • All of your projects are fully documented, planned, and executed with total transparency to and robust communication with stakeholders
  • You enjoy creating documentation and providing training for team members
  • Comprehensive operating procedures and related documentation exist for all core SaaS applications and analysts are fully trained
  • The security posture of all our SaaS applications meet and exceed both security and scalability needs
Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are strongly desired, but not a strict requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • You Engineer with Empathy, humbly mentoring team members and focusing on employee and customer needs
  • 7+ years of deep experience implementing & operating Enterprise SaaS application
  • 5+ years Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) experience (daily, non-trivial hands-on admin)
  • 5+ years Jira experience (daily, non-trivial hands-on admin)
  • 5+ years Slack experience (daily, non-trivial hands-on admin)
  • 5+ years supporting IT and business systems integration (e.g. SSO, cross-cloud access and user provisioning, external vendor to internal systems data transfer integrations, etc.)
  • Have implemented and maintained a non-trivial enterprise SSO system
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Ability to plan, manage, code, and support multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives
  • Programming language proficiency (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go, etc.)
Preferred qualifications 
  • Startup experience - Comfort working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working with REST API endpoints using various authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, API keys/secrets, Basic auth, etc.)
  • Google Professional Google Workspace Administrator or Professional Collaboration Engineer Certification
  • Slack Admin and / or Developer Certification
  • Experience with GCP

  • Base salary of $100k - $125k annually
