Sr Salesforce Engineer, Service Cloud
Cohesity is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our growing Enterprise Technology team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and the ability to design and implement sophisticated solutions to enhance our customer service capabilities.
Key responsibilities include collecting, documenting, and verifying business requirements from business leads and project stakeholders, and designing and building applications on the Salesforce Platform based on these requirements. This role is crucial in supporting Cohesity’s Service organization by providing expertise and guidance in Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft scalable and efficient Salesforce Service Cloud solutions that meet best practices and business requirements. Lead the technical design and implementation of Service Cloud features, including Experience cloud, Case Management, Service Console, Knowledge Base, and Omni-Channel.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. Review and approve technical designs, code, and configurations.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide mentorship, and ensure that solutions meet their needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead all aspects of and guide the development of custom Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, triggers, and LWC/ Apex code.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the Salesforce platform. Implement data migration strategies and manage data integrations.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance processes. Supervise and optimize the performance of Salesforce solutions, including addressing performance issues and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates and new features. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance Salesforce capabilities and improve business processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in architecting and crafting full stack solutions on the Salesforce Platform.
- Must have 4+ years of Experience in architecting, crafting and developing Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions.
- Minimum 2+ years of Lightning Framework development experience (Aura & LWC).
- Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant and/or Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is highly desired.
- Extensive development experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning, Batch Apex, Salesforce DX, Apex Enterprise Patterns, Apex Mocks, Force.com API, Process Builder, Visual Flows, Platform Events, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Clear insight of Salesforce platform best practices, coding and design guidelines and governor limits.
- Experience with Development Tools and Technologies: Visual Studio Code, GIT, and DevOps Setup to automate deployment/releases.
- Knowledge of integration architecture as well as third-party integration tools and ETL (Such as Informatica, Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft etc.) with Salesforce
- Experience in Agile development, iterative development, and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to lead technical projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$139,100—$170,000 USD

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
