Senior Security Engineer

We are looking for a knowledgeable Senior Security Engineer to ensure our organization adheres to high standards of IT security in application and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in threat detection and skilled in conveying complex security concepts to a variety of stakeholders, as this is a client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, conduct security audits to identify and mitigate risks
• Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities using tools like SIEM, SAST & DAST scanning, OSS
• Respond promptly to any security incidents
• Work with developers to ensure secure coding practices, including code reviews and vulnerability assessments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure that security is integrated into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Align with client security teams on format and flows for SIEM solution

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on application security
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, threat models, and risk assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies for threat detection, prevention, and response
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, and penetration testing
• Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and providing security guidance to development teams
• Knowledge of cloud security practices in Azure
• Familiarity with identity and access management, network security, and data encryption in a cloud environment
• Fluent English skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Additional certifications in cybersecurity or cloud security platforms
• Prior experience in a client-facing security role
• Background in developing educational security materials for non-technical audiences
