Senior Software Architect - Java

Description

For our Turnkey SaaS Products group, we have an immediate opening for an experienced and creative Technical Architect to help us design, implement and deliver Workforce Management Products on top of the Entellitrak Case Management Development Platform. Currently our portfolio includes Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Reasonable Accommodations, Anti-Harassment and Employee-Labor Relations products and our ever growing roadmap has plans to develop additional products in the coming months.

You will serve as a product architect and technical lead for US based and offshore product engineering teams, leading and collaborating with other developers to design and develop new SaaS Products, design medium to large-sized product features and architectural enhancements for our existing SaaS products. Responsibilities:

• Design and architect secure, scalable, usable and accessible SaaS products on our Java based Entellitrak Case Management Platform framework.
• Deliver high-quality products that will delight and astound our customers
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to our US based and offshore development teams
• Establish development best practices to enforce security, performance and UI/UX development standards and mentor our developers
• Facilitate design sessions, code reviews to ensure that all product development is in compliance with established development practices and processes
• Resolve technical questions, issues, and blockers to ensure team productivity
• Identify and manage cross products and project dependencies
• Collaborate with platform Engineering and Architecture teams to recommend technical direction for our new products as well as new features and enhancements for the existing products
• Provide technical content for all product documentation as needed
• Assist with hiring, training and onboarding software engineers for the turnkey products group

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 8-10 years of experience in developing and designing enterprise Java web-based applications
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Experience working with the following technology and tools;
  • Java web component technologies like Servlet, JSP
  • MVC frameworks such as Struts and Spring
  • ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
  • Writing and understanding complex SQL
  • RESTful web services
  • View tier technologies such as JavaScript and Ajax
  • JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery and React JS
  • Git and Git Flow
  • Tools, frameworks, and technologies in the open source Java world
• Knowledge of search, analytics and No SQL technologies is a plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Scrum Master experience is a plus
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and become productive with them quickly
• Strong oral/written communication skills
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance
