Senior Software Developer

Job Title: Sr Software Developer (hybrid)

Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)

FLSA: Exempt

Job Overview:

The Sr. Software Developer should have a growth mindset. This role will work with a team of senior and mid-level developers to build REST APIs and microservices. This individual will help migrate legacy monolithic applications to highly decoupled applications and will lead the cloud migration effort.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of 4-6 developers in a fast pace agile environment
• Design, build and manage REST APIs and Microservices using Test Driven Development (TDD) and Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast time-to-market and reduced lead times
• Lead projects to transform on-premise monolithic applications to decoupled microservices based architecture
• Work closely with the solutions architecture, integration and product management teams to continuously enhance the platform
• Adhere to best coding and security practices. Implement unit testing and code coverage standards

Job Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related
• Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on Software Development experience
• Hands on experience in designing and developing APIs and Microservices in cloud is required
• Experience working with Relational Databases and ORM technologies
• Experience working with no-SQL databases is a plus
• Experience with SQLServer, PostGres, NoSQL - DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Languages: Java, Node.js
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
