This strategic work requires streamlining and repurposing technology across different business and distribution channels β including streaming, linear, and theatrical β so that technology can ebb and flow across the needs of the business.
Tooling Ecosystem (TECO)
The Tooling Ecosystem team is responsible for the management of the Content Portal and CoCo applications. These applications provide mission-critical operator functionality for the maintenance and data accuracy of our streaming metadata. TECO ensures a high quality user experience for our operators; constantly updating our existing feature set and investigating new ideas to improve overall performance and interaction.
Responsibilities
Design and build robust software applications, utilizing software engineering to deliver high performance solutions.
Ownership of UI/UX framework components and libraries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to identify opportunities, business impact, and technical requirements.
Diagnose, debug, and lead root cause analysis efforts for front-end issues in production or test environments
Mentor, empower, and provide career growth opportunities for team members.
Prioritize tasks within a project to deliver high value initiatives, while anticipating and mitigating potential risk wherever possible.
Assist in managing AWS infrastructure supporting the tooling ecosystems
Work on improving overall performance of the Content Portal and CoCo applications
Contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation
Build quality products
Provide on-call rotational support as needed
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience required
5+ years of web development experience required
Experience building consumer-facing single-page applications in JavaScript
Experience developing rich, interactive and well-performing user interfaces using frameworks like React
Experience building services using REST and GraphQL
Preferred Qualifications
Scrum environment familiarity
Experience writing unit tests / implementing test driven development processes
Experience writing Cypress test for visual automation
Domain knowledge software deployments
Experience with A/B Testing

The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA and in New York City, NY is $142,516 to $191,180 per year; the hiring range for this position in Santa Monica/Burbank/Glendale/L.A., California and in Bristol, Connecticut is $136,038 to $182,490; and the hiring range for this position in San Francisco, California is $148,994 to $199,870 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidateβs geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
