Senior Software Engineer - Data

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Data. Being a part of the China Delivery team, you will be working on projects where we provide enterprise data solutions for our clients. As a Data Integration professional, you'll contribute to delivery success in a key developer role by collaborating with multi-functional roles/teams utilizing agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee data pipelines in a cutting-edge, cloud-oriented environment
• Understand and interpret the data schema of current data sources
• Streamline the collection and processing of data on the data pipeline
• Design a streamlined data schema for the Data Platform to ensure swift and effective data query and retrieval for analytical purposes
• Automate processes and establish CI/CD delivery pipelines

Requirements

• 3+ years of development experience in data management, data storage, data modeling, data analytics, data migration, and database design, hands-on experience in at least one major public Cloud environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with SQL, Python and experience with data querying
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud data services, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
• Upper-Intermediate level (CEFR B2) of spoken and written English
• Cantonese speaker
