Primary Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates and applies understanding of modern development methodologies and tools to develop, deploy and maintain impactful, high-value market solutions
• Drives operational efficiency and manageability through use of DevOps practices (end-to-end ownership, everything-as-code, instrumentation)
• Develops the organization's engineering capacity and capability through evolution of engineering practices and technical competencies
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or other technology-related fields
• 12+ years of software application development and documentation experience with a focus on quality, performance, scalability, and resilience using front end technologies and database
• 6+ years of experience in .NET framework and related technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, etc.
• 6+ years of solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• 6+ years of experience with database technologies commonly used in .NET development, such as SQL Server or MySQL
• 4+ years of knowledge of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
• 4+ years of experience using TFS, Azure DevOps, or GIT tools for data solution management and delivery
• 2+ years of familiarity with Azure services and solutions, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)
• Experience with database design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance
• Knowledge of agile development practices and DevOps principles
• Proficiency in database technologies commonly used at Azure, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for MySQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, etc.
• Knowledge of data storage, retrieval, indexing, and query optimization techniques
• Familiarity with database security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices
• Understanding of data integration, migration, and synchronization processes
• Ability to maintain awareness of current engineering operations practices (e.g. DevOps, DataOps, SecOps, Data Science, Data Engineering), deepening expertise where most relevant to role and problem space
• Ability to reuse and/or develops for reuse complex components or capabilities to solve complex problems and needs
• Ability to enhance system design/architecture to simplify and improve resiliency in system interactions and dependencies
• Ability to contribute to or helps drive architecture/design, technology, and tool decisions and implementations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
• Experience in collaborating with DevOps teams for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience in applying design patterns to solve common software design challenges and improve code quality
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker for creating, deploying, and managing containers
• Knowledge of container networking, storage, and security concepts
• Familiarity with container registries, container monitoring, and logging tools
• Understanding of microservices architecture and how it relates to containerization
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to containerization and orchestration
• Proficiency in software design principles and patterns, such as SOLID principles, design patterns, and architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, etc.
• Knowledge of anti-patterns and when to avoid certain design patterns based on specific requirements.
• Develop and sustain a mentality of life-long learning through ongoing investigation and investment in new coding, technical and operational skills and knowledge
