Senior Software Engineer (UI/UX, React)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative and user-friendly web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to front end architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

You must be comfortable working in a fully remote environment with distributed teams in multiple time zones.

Technology Stack used at CreatorIQ: 

• AWS and strict cloud-oriented infrastructure
• Node.JS and Typescript, PHP, Python, and GoLang
• MS SQL Server, AWS DWH with Redshift, Aurora, and S3
• SPA using JavaScript (ES6+), React, and TypeScript
• JoyUI (MUI) React Components

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the innovative design and development of responsive and interactive web applications that impact our users' experience.
• Make informed decisions on front-end architecture, integrating creativity with technical expertise when resolving complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components with back-end services.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during integration.
• Implement robust testing strategies using testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) within the CI/CD pipeline.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React, TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of front-end development tools, and package managers, and testing libraries (e.g., Webpack, npm, Jest). Experience in implementing robust testing strategies using testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI frameworks (Material-UI, Ant Design).

Leadership & Adaptability

• Proven leadership in front-end projects with a keen eye for optimal user interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a critical approach to technical challenges.
• Technologies and customer needs evolve quickly.Your willingness to embrace change, tackle new challenges and be proactive will be pivotal to success in this role.
• Mentorship & Team CollaborationA proven track record of mentoring and developing junior engineers in the modern front end stack.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and create a learning environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient in asynchronous communication (in English), ensuring clarity and efficiency in remote or hybrid settings.

Education Background and Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience. At least 3+ years as a Senior Frontend engineer.

Nice to have qualifications:

• Good knowledge of SQL and Data manipulation concepts;
• Solid experience in GraphQL and API-first methodologies;
• Familiarity with ML technologies;
• Experience in other Backend stacks, like PHP, Python, Java, Ruby, Go, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
