About the Team

You will join OneID PS team. OneID is a central customer identity and access management solution for Wolters Kluwer. It offers a comprehensive authentication, authorization, and user management solution for Wolters Kluwer’s customers. OneID PS is part of Digital eXperience Group (*/dxg) division.

The Role
We are searching for a senior-level automation test engineer who is passionate about delivering high quality software solutions. This role will need to have good technical and analytical skills.

Job level: T3

Location: Pune, Kalyani Nagar (Hybrid)

Responsibilities: 

• Work with an international multi-disciplinary team of engineers to ensure that software products deliver business value, have high quality, and contain a minimal of technical debt.
• Understand the key business drivers and build knowledge around the product and customers.
• Support test lead in defining and implementing the necessary infrastructure, such as test environments, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and reporting mechanisms.
• Collaborate with rest of the test and dev team, in test planning and execution activities.
• Ensure effective test coverage and traceability through automation.
• Develop and execute automated unit, integration, progression, regression, performance and load test suits.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand changes and ensure timely updates to automation scripts to maintain test integrity.
• Lead and inspire an testing team to deliver information products, services, maintaining a high standard of quality. Cultivate a culture of engagement, innovation, and career development within the team.
• Engage in career development discussions with each team member, establishing 1-3 meaningful development goals to support their growth in their current roles and longer-term career progression.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify high-potential individuals for promotion, and implement performance improvement plans as needed.

Required experience

• 5 to 8 years of overall experience in software quality engineering, including experience in test automation and test frameworks.
• Sound knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, etc
• Strong in programming languages like JavaScript, Typescript etc
• Hands on experience in UI and API layer testing.
• Hand on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab.
• Hands on experience with cloud-based testing and virtualization tools.
• Very good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated people management experience that fosters a positive culture, promotes career growth for direct reports, and encourages innovation.
• Leadership abilities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation solutions in complex software development projects.
• Product installation, docker image creation, Release management
• Strong understanding of Functional, Integration, regression, and end to end testing
• Experience in documenting defects, reproduction steps, RCAs, and producing technical documentation.
• Experience working within an Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe)
• Good communication (English) and social skills.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification(s) will be a plus.
