What's the role

We’re hiring an Senior Ad Operations Specialist to join our growing Data Strategy team! You will serve as the technical subject matter expert for the implementation of all 1P tagging and measurement solutions, campaign trafficking, media and creative delivery, and QA of paid campaigns.

What you do


Account Management Responsibilities (75%):

  • Trafficking of large-scale, direct response, paid media campaigns inside Campaign Manager (CM360)
  • Manages all media trafficking needs by scheduling and maintaining placements, rotation of ads, and creative throughout the lifetime of campaigns
  • Assists in coordination of large collections of assets and deliverables and preps them for the ad server
  • Ownership and distribution and of tags, trackers, and creative assets to all media partners
  • Implement, QA, and audit tagging, creative, and delivery across paid media campaigns including primarily programmatic and digital direct display (although not limited to include search and social)
  • Proactively communicate with all internal teams (paid media, analytics, etc.) at the onset of a campaign to identify and implement all creative and technical requirements
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence around media & data taxonomies to facilitate high data quality for reporting, insights, and analysis
  • Monitor discrepancies and perform technical troubleshooting across ad tech vendors
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to remain educated on industry trends (such as rich media partners, ad verification/brand safety partners, location data partners, etc.)

Leadership Responsibilities (25%):

  • Communicate complex technical issues to non-technical users
  • Manage client expectations, deliverables, and timelines
  • Collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure accurate campaign set up and execution
  • Enable processes, documentation, and  a framework for repeatable analytics processes at Brainlabs
  • Escalation of issues to senior team members

  • Process improvement driven individual

Who you are 

  • 1-3 years hands on experience trafficking campaigns in ad serving and rich media tools, mainly Campaign Manager 360 (CM360)
  • First party tag management solutions and analytics tools (Adobe AnalyticsOmniture, Google Analytics 4, GTM, Tealium, etc)
  • Ad verification tools like DoubleVerify, MOAT, and IAS

Key metrics of success for this role include:

  • After 6 months, you will be able to independently traffick and manage new campaign launches for most client accounts with a high level of accuracy and an understanding of client timelines
  • Uplevel the knowledge and skill set of other Brainlabbers with regards to ad operations best practices and ad server implementation.

Current position range

$60,000—$75,000 USD
