As the Senior Pricing Specialist, you'll manage the pricing request queue, update the pricing system, craft customer facing quotes in accordance with the pricing policy, respond to requests for proposal. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Assign pricing requests to appropriate specialists, ensuring the department makes SLA
• Respond to pricing requests for ocean, air and road transportation services as also for related logistics services from sales makers across the company
• Update the rate management and configure price quote system, in conjunction with third parties, to ensure that the system is current
• Implement pricing policy to create customer facing quotes
• Co-ordinate sales, operations and partners respond to requests for proposal

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 2 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry
• Exposure to transportation management and rate management system(s)
• Experience pricing ocean, air and road transportation services
• Excellent communication skills, both, verbal and written
• Good data management and quantitative skills

It'd be great if you also have:

• College credits in International Business
• Experience pricing drayage, transload and warehousing services
• Exposure to a CargoWise and PNet
• Exposure to rate management systems like Catapult or Freightos
• Exposure to contracts for ocean / air / domestic transportation services
