Meet the team:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer you will find ways to automate manual processes, minimize manual intervention, maximize test infrastructure usage and speed up testing. You will build software tools like dashboards, data parsers, Automated UI flows, data analysis tools etc. to drive test infrastructure that would run 24/7 globally. Your technical expertise in building tools will be instrumental in enabling auto update of documents, push of data to the cloud, execution of tests and website/portal updates for our partners and customers. You will be an instrumental part of the team that brings life changing products to market.

Where you come in:

• You will architect and built solutions for automating Web and Mobile App testing, on real devices and emulation environments.
• Build tools for configuring/controlling Dexcom devices and Apps, parsing logs and analyzing failures.
• Work with the QA and Dev teams to maximize Automated testing in each sprint and track automation tasks as part of Sprint delivery.
• Develop endpoints and APIs to auto-update web portals, send notifications and generate documentation.
• Identify key scaling opportunities, build a roadmap for automating Dexcom Apps testing and validation across several Android and iOS platforms.
• Evangelize available automation platforms, drive towards low-code/no-code automation development.
• Build integrations between tools like Jira, Testrail Slack, Github, Datadog etc. to automate workflows and data transfers between systems.
• Work with the team on identifying improvement areas and generate/tracking ROI metrics from automation.
• Mentor junior engineers, build the team, learn, grow!

What makes you successful:

• You must have strong hands-on experience in Python, Java, or C++
• Experience building/enhancing a framework for Mobile and Web applications testing.
• Hands-on experience using tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Junit, Karate, Robot framework, NGTest, postman, etc. for automation.
• Hands-on experience developing tools and infra for testing back-end API, RestAPIs and cloud services.
• Experience integrating tools like Jira, Testrail, GitHub, Web portals, databases, AWS/GCP services, etc. and transferring data to/from these sources/tools/services.
• Experience in Building and managing automated test suites that can be used by other teams in CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo etc.) and QA for end-to-end system testing.
• Must have experience using cloud solutions (AWS or GCP) for compute, storage, authentication etc. (S3, SNS/SQS, EC3, IAM, Lambda etc.) to build dashboards, micro-services and tools.
• Must have Experience manipulating and analyzing data in various formats like JSON, XML, Text, CSV, Excel etc.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

$122,500.00 - $204,100.00
