Job Description

In this role, you will help shape the future of Convera’s platform API business and contribute to continued growth in the global payments market. This role is part of Convera’s Global Product Management team building API products for use by corporations and financial institutions around the world. This is a mid-level product role with expectations of roadmap cultivation, ownership, and execution working with both internal and external customers.

As Senior Technical Product Manager, you will evangelize the API product value proposition to Convera stakeholders and build API products that meet real customer needs and KPIs. This role will work directly with external customers, platform engineering teams, other product managers, and business stakeholders to translate needs into working software. This is a technical product role and requires the ability to make technical trade off decisions, evaluate system design choices, and speak directly to the Developer-as-a-Customer persona through technical writing and communications.

This role will be responsible for building API products, such as connectors and SDKs, and managing the customer-facing API developer portal. The portal is used by Convera customers and partners to gain access to our APIs, consume documentation, and learn about new features. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for crafting the portal roadmap, managing updates to the portal, documentation, and creating content in conjunction with engineering and global marketing. Strong attention to detail in written technical communications is a prerequisite for this role.

To succeed in this role, you will be expected to analyze key customer & product metrics, benchmark against API industry standards, and assess the competitive landscape. You will be expected to use data and intuition to make decisions and influence product strategy for buy-in.

We strive to uphold the Convera values every day. The ideal candidate should be relentless in being a Customer Champion and never settle for “good enough”. We operate as One Convera and look to build a positive work culture where we succeed together, building strong relationships along the way. We aren’t afraid to have difficult conversations to make the right decision while remaining Respectfully Candid. We are seeking a High Achiever & Fast Mover who has experience working in a matrixed environment and can operate with minimal oversight.
