Senior Technical Program Manager, Vehicle Network Management

The Motional Technical Programs team is seeking to hire an experienced Technical Program Manager to support our platform integration and bringup activities. You will work closely with a cross-functional engineering teams and will be responsible for the planning and roll out of the different in-vehicle networks (e.g., CAN, Ethernet). You will also drive implementation and roll out of the flashing, diagnostics, and cybersecurity architectures.

What You'll Do

• Work across the organization with Systems Engineering, Component Engineering, Vehicle Engineering and software developers to plan and drive rollout of the vehicle network architecture in a synchronized manner
• Define and implement the rollout of the vehicle flashing and diagnostics architectures
• Define and implement the rollout of Secure Onboard Communication (SecOC) and end-to-end protection
• Facilitate technical discussions to synchronize stakeholder expectations and schedule dependencies, and flag discrepancies and misalignment
• Actively manage day-to-day execution, tracking progress against key metrics and removing blockers and inefficiencies as required
• Coordinate with the greater program and organization to prioritize and deconflict activities and resources
• Provide regular status updates to program and engineering leadership
• Proactively identify, manage, and report on risks and issues

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs, successfully delivering on time and within budget
• Demonstrated experience working across teams and disciplines resolving competing priorities and managing dependencies
• Strong written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to communicate complex engineering issues and tailor messaging based on audience
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering fundamentals, especially how it relates to hardware, software and system-level design
• Broad knowledge of automotive system interfaces such as 10/100/Gigabit Ethernet, Automotive Ethernet, CAN / CAN-FD, LIN, and LVDS
• Passion for bringing cutting edge technology to a fielded production environment
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment across multiple time zones
• Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Travel as needed
