CACI is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support an Army Product Management office.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Assists in the development and review of a wide range of test plans, procedures, and documentation, providing recommendations, research support, and capturing lessons learned.
- Provides support in the execution and evaluation of all tests, both internal and by equipment manufacturers, as required.
- Prepares effective strategies and procedures for acceptance testing and safety protocol development and execution.
- Supports the verification and validation of Government test exercises and demonstrations including Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) safety, capabilities and limitations testing, production acceptance testing, operational testing, electromagnetic environmental effects testing, and baseline changes and modifications.
- Monitors and supports Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E), family-of-systems interoperability testing, and Modeling and Simulation (M&S) activities required during the life cycle of the Product Office systems.
- Monitors and supports experiments to characterize system operational performance and operational effectiveness, suitability, survivability, and safety testing of commercial and non-developmental items.
- Participates in vendor testing oversight and the conduct of Government acceptance testing at the direction of the Government.
- Coordinates with appropriate test activities for the development of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and execution of Developmental, Operational, and Logistics test events and demonstrations.
- Coordinates and participates in Test Readiness Reviews.
- Supports the coordination of frequency allocation requirements for the Program Offices' systems including the coordination of DD Form 1494s, "Application for Equipment Frequency Allocation," to obtain electromagnetic spectrum certification, including joint spectrum certification and host nation coordination.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable)
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ten (10) years of applicable experience, including five (5) years of experience in the test and evaluation of military systems.
