Senior Website Development Manager

We are seeking a Senior Website Development Manager to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Sofia. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a team with responsibilities for the implementation and maintenance of our company web platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day production and client-facing website operations, program roll outs, maintenance and incident reports, and overall quality control for multi-regional websites
• Provide hands-on support to the development teams, when necessary
• Evaluate emerging technologies in mobile first web experiences and provide leadership and perspective to multiple departments
• Present recommendations for website optimization and site layout to improve customer experience and conversion opportunity
• Develop and monitor web metrics and conversion funnels to optimize traffic
• Shift the business approach to a mobile-first web experience, ensuring site speed and functionality are always optimized
• Act as the main liaison who sits in between collecting business requirements for campaigns or development opportunities and translating technical development needs to execute on
• Have a strong focus on best practices in web development and design, and a competitive approach to a best-in-class presentation of ThinkMarkets’ web platforms
• Provide performance reporting against client goals with insights and optimization recommendations
• Develop strong internal relationships with Marketing, SEO specialists, country managers and other business stakeholders

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in the fields of web software development
• Experience with Kentico, WordPress, or other CMS platforms is required
• Experience with Web farms, multi-node environments and load balancers
• Experience using frontend technologies, including, ReactJS, Angular, Redux
• Knowledge and understanding of C#, design patterns, and data structures is preferred
• Experience with relational databases, like MsSQL or MySQL is preferred
• Proven success managing a team of global developers and QA specialists
• Must be a self-starter and passionate about web design with the technical development and leadership skills to guide a development team
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Experience working with remote vendor teams to complete complex tasks
• Excellent organizational skills and sense of urgency
• Excellent command of the English language
