Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer - Platforms & Core Services

We are looking for a senior/staff fullstack engineer to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for a variety of activities, partnering with senior staff to solve big problems that immediately impact our software development lifecycle.

• Design and develop highly scalable solutions that solve complex internal challenges.
• Help other engineers with tooling and automation.
• Interface with engineering and product leaders to assess the state of our systems and find new opportunities to raise the quality of our engineering.
• Evangelize the accumulated learnings, patterns and techniques that you will be developing.

• You are a distributed systems expert with a healthy knowledge of microservices and Kafka.
• You are proficient with Ruby on Rails & Sidekick. 
• You are a fan of functional programming, specifically with Scala and Clojure.
• You like to understand “the why” and “for who” in order to critically think about what to do. 
• You have a strong desire to own and solve complex problems.
• You have a knack for getting things done and creatively pushing past blockers.
• You have a collaborative nature that makes working with others fun.
• You primarily want to be an IC in a rapidly growing company with room to grow.
