Sernior Software Engineer, Backend - Remote

Revero is seeking a founding backend engineer, hungry to earn an above market, equity stake, who can rapidly prototype a web app at a fast growing startup.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will build the key applications, tools, and workflows for Revero’s revolutionary value-based care offerings. While you will focus on the backend systems, you’ll also have the opportunity to influence direction across all levels of our stack as a high-growth company.

Responsibilities

• Code and ship complex backend features and API endpoints at a high velocity, while maintaining high quality, well-structured code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in production and non-production environments
• DevOps: You should be comfortable with basic cloud deployments

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building backend systems in production
• Experienced in NodeJS
• Experienced in TypeScript
• Experienced in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experienced in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Autopilot
• Experienced in SQL database
• Experienced in GraphQL
• Experienced with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) (pulumi or terraform preferred)
• 4 year college degree in computer science or related field or industry experience
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
• Highly knowledgeable and attentive to detail, carefully crafting both tests and code
• A champion for quality in code, processes, and culture with a growth mindset 
• Able to work independently to self-manage priorities and navigate ambiguity

For this role the compensation for candidates is $140,000 - $180,000 with 0.5%-1.5% equity
