Job Description
Serve as liaison between APS and municipalities, contractors, and customers for new installations, upgrades, conversions, and relocations to electrical service. Ensure customer requirements and expectations are accurately understood, communicated and executed. Schedule, coordinate, and ensure completion of all facets of projects from initiation through close out.
Responsibilities
• Day to Day of Position:
• Interfacing with service area customers for all things service related
• For example, if a customer wants to upgrade meter panel or get a meter installed, it will go through the service coordinator
• Functions as an APS liaison to APS customers to satisfy requirements to run service
• Primarily focused around residential, can spill over to commercial
• Helps coordinate setting a customer up with power and getting it turned on
• Vetting through customer intake calls to assist the Customer Project Representatives
Qualifications
• Ideal Candidate:
• Someone who has gone to job sites to meet with customers
• For example, someone who has worked for a plumbing, roofing, or utilities related company and had to talk to customers about their service and/or installations.
• Customer service piece is huge – the leader is looking for this experience on resumes. For example, experience working with their customers at job/installation sites.
• Strong soft skills, detail oriented, and organized
• Entry level project management skills are helpful: time management, scheduling, when and how to prioritize workload.
• Essence of basic electricity is a plus - how it is generated (from generation to meter)
• This is easily taught and most people can get a good understanding of it through the training for this role
Additional Information
• Role will be fully onsite
• Hours will be M-F, 6am-2:30pm + 5 hours OT a week
• Will require driving an APS vehicle to job sites and for customer meetings out in the field
