The Opportunity
Our growing Services team are currently seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to be based in Melbourne. With a proven technical and project management background, you will oversee the delivery of projects within our growing Victoria operations, playing a central role in supporting our Services business which is experiencing strong activity and gearing up for growth across our diverse operations.
With an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects, you will support a growing portfolio that includes; Hospitals, Utilities, Data Centres and just about everything in-between. Encompassing both Secure Power and Power Systems, our expertise covers; UPS, cooling, batteries, switchgear, circuit breakers and a wide range of supporting products and services.
Leveraging your specialist skills and experience with a truly global organisation, you will make an Impact and contribute to the strategic direction of our growing operations.
This exciting new career opportunity will see you:
- Collaborating with a variety of passionate stakeholders who are focused on delivering Customer focused solutions; Project Managers, Operations, Regional Managers, Service Representatives, Planners, Contractors and other site-specific stakeholders
- Utilising your skills and experience to oversee key areas of Project Management and Governance, while supporting business strategies that are focused on ongoing growth across a range of Customers / Markets
- Overseeing the delivery of current projects and take a forward-looking approach to ensure we are setup for success as we plan for a strong pipeline of exciting future projects
- Providing subject matter expertise and role model best practice across systems, internal processes and the utilisation of tools that support a digitally focused organisation
Contribute to workforce planning, the management of Subcontractor resources and lead other proactive business improvement initiatives that ensure Customer Satisfaction and business success
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Engineering, Technical, Project Management etc.) coupled with proven experience in a similar Service Delivery or Project Management position
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management principles, ideally within a similar large-scale organisation (IT, Engineering etc.)
- Proven success in the execution of diverse technical projects within dynamic and growth-focused commercial environments where you have positively impacted business success
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proven ability to navigate complex challenges while driving the implementation of innovative solutions
- Well-developed leadership skills and positive behaviours that support our Values and support your ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and other external partners
- Those with additional postgraduate qualifications and/or PMP certification will be viewed favourably
