ServiceNow Platform Architect

Description

ActioNet seeks a ServiceNow Platform Architect with demonstrated success in the Federal Government space, DOD and Civilian. ActioNet, a leading solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna Va., specializes in IT and Cybersecurity services, engineering, and managed services.

Responsibilities:

• Architect of ServiceNow platform, applications, and custom applications.
• Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, proposing solutions to achieve complex business objectives.
• Lead design workshops to design ServiceNow platform and custom scoped applications.
• Document platform and application architecture and design.
• Provides guidance on, assists in establishing, and participates in technical governance.
• Collaborates on design and implementation of a platform operating model improving successful go-lives and end-user adoption.
• Provide recommendations and implementation strategies for improving business processes, procedures, and workflows using ServiceNow platform and best practices.
• Oversee Administrator and Developers software install, configuration, data migration, and development of workflow and internal and external interfaces.
• Contribute technical guidance in development and completion of user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, master test plan, and user acceptance testing and sign-off.
• Provide oversight for upgrades, monthly patching, testing, standard operating procedures, training materials, training, and additional support as requested.
• Conduct business development, bid and proposal support activities as the need arises.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Job Experience:

• Seven years of experience with architecture, design, deployment, development, maintenance, patching, upgrade, governance and support of ServiceNow platform and custom scoped applications including Sub-Production and Production instances.
• Conducted multiple implementations of configuring, administering, development, customization, release and enhancements to native and custom scoped ServiceNow applications.
• Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of ServiceNow FedRAMP High instances, Security Assertion Markup Language, Single Sign-On, Active Directory Federation Services, Common Access Card, and Multi-factor authentication.
• Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of ServiceNow integrations and interfaces with third party applications and data sources using Extensible Markup Language (XML), Email, web services, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Representational State Transfer (REST), Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), Oracle, Excel, Web Service Definition Language (WSDL), and IntegrationHub.
• Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of ServiceNow Mid Server.
• Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of complex process workflows using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and App Engine tools.
• Proficient presenting technical architecture solutions to project teams.
• Demonstrated experience developing training materials and providing end user and administrator training on the ServiceNow platform and applications.
• Demonstrated experience implementing project management, and basic ITIL for incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
• Experience with ServiceNow HIWAVE Support
