We are currently looking for a Signage Design Coordinator to join us.
We are looking for a Signage Design Coordinator to join our Environmental Team. In this role, you will support designing and implementing large-scale exterior and interior signage programs for a diverse client base in healthcare, financial services, energy, and technology. This is a coordinator-level position with an initial emphasis on production-oriented activities with opportunities to show off your design chops and project management skills.
In this role, you can expect:
  • Survey client facilities and identify needs and opportunities for branding and wayfinding
  • Contribute to the design of comprehensive signage and wayfinding systems and sign family documentation
  • Make site-specific design recommendations for implementing signage at our client's facilities
  • Create renderings and elevations to show what new signs will look like in application
  • Input survey data and design recommendations, track progress and make revisions using our proprietary SignChart software
  • Create site books complete with design recommendations, supporting details, specifications, and notes to be submitted for approvals
  • Participate in weekly internal and external status calls and meetings
  • Collaborate with other team members - Designers, Technical designers, Program managers and directors - in your everyday work
  • Work across multiple projects as needed

Our ideal candidate has:
  • A bachelor's or associate degree in industrial design, environmental graphic design, graphic design, or architecture is preferred
  • Must have strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills (AutoCAD, Corel Draw, and SketchUp are a plus)
  • Other production-oriented skills (e.g., ability to 3D visualize design recommendations, and produce detailed drawings in CAD)
  • Demonstrated design ability with an affinity for the more technical aspects of design
  • Understanding of the built environment; working knowledge of materials and finishes, lighting, fabrication techniques, and scale
  • Self-starter who can work independently and is organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible to changing priorities

  • Previous agency experience or sign industry experience is a plus

Salary Range: $47,000 - $52,000 (Denver, CO area)
  • Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience and may vary from the amount listed above.
