Site Activation Specialist

Tempus created the TIME clinical trials network to increase patient access to clinical trials by bringing the trial to the patient. The TIME program is an industry leader in the field of just-in-time (JIT) clinical trials.

We are looking for an experienced Site Activation Specialist who will work with our cross functional team to manage key research sites in the TIME research network. The TIME network is fundamentally changing how patients access clinical trials, and we need energetic, creative, patient-focused people to help us do that.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to relationships with clinical research sites and pharmaceutical sponsors in the TIME network
• Act as a single point of contact for study start up related questions and activities
• Coordinate with the site and sponsor teams to open trials through the JIT activation process and enroll patients
• Educate site and sponsor partners on the JIT activation processes and best practices
• Develop and implement new products, services, and workflows to drive efficiencies throughout the TIME network
• Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners to streamline study start up processes
• Coordinate with central IRB team to facilitate review and approval

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in science or health related field
• 2+ years of work as a clinical research coordinator in an oncology setting OR experience working for a pharmaceutical company/CRO
• CCRC preferable
• Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to set goals and prioritize/manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of current FDA regulations, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP's) governing clinical research and HIPAA
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of study start up and trial activation
• Option for hybrid remote/on-site work model
• Ability to travel 10-20%
