About FluentPet:FluentPet creates tools and a community for facilitating two-way communication between humans and animals. Leveraging cognitive science-based research, we collaborate with pet owners and their animal learners to build a shared language, enhancing their lives. Our engagement with the community allows us to refine and expand the FluentPet HexTile System, pushing the boundaries of interspecies communication.

Job Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow FluentPet's online presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pets and animal communication, have a strong grasp of social media trends, and excel at executing engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Scheduling: Curate, facilitate the production of, and schedule engaging content for social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with our online community by responding to comments and messages promptly and ensuring consistent communication.
  • Metrics Monitoring: Track and report on social media metrics, providing regular insights to improve performance.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in executing social media campaigns for product launches and special events.
  • Influencer Coordination: Work with influencers to generate social media content.
  • Platform Management: Ensure daily posting (7x/week) and manage social media-based e-commerce shops.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends and apply best practices to content execution.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the pet or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven experience in growing social media followings and engagement.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Meta, Google, Hootsuite).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with excellent grammar and spelling.
  • Familiarity with photo and video editing software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A passion for dogs, cats, and animal communication is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with paid social media advertising.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Basic HTML and web design skills.
