Social Media Growth & Acquisition Strategist - Contractor
LOCATION: U.S. Remote, preferably based in Utah for in-person collaboration
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 3-6 Month Contract, 15 - 20 hrs/week
SUMMARY
Owlet is seeking a Growth & Acquisition Strategist Contractor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in scaling our brand's presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of social media and demonstrate a proven track record of driving significant growth through these channels.

Have you unlocked growth on TikTok? TikTok ads? TikTok shops?
Have you made or coordinated viral content?
Have you unlocked Meta acquisition Ads for ecomm?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expertise in Social Media Platforms: Develop and implement strategies across key platforms: TikTok and Meta, leveraging knowledge of algorithms, audience behaviors, and content strategies.
- Demonstrated Success: Showcase a history of achieving growth on social media, supported by case studies or metrics.
- Viral Marketing Proficiency: Create or direct content creation or campaigns with the potential to go viral, displaying an ability to harness social media nuances for impactful messaging.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize analytics tools (Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.) and ecomm attribution tools for performance tracking, data analysis, and strategy optimization.
- Innovation and Creativity: Exhibit a creative approach to problem-solving and strategy development, thinking outside the box to stand out in the crowded social media space.
- Content Creation: Either possess strong content creation skills or collaborate effectively with content creators to produce engaging, shareable content.
- Paid Social Expertise: Implement and manage paid advertising on social media, focusing on audience targeting, ad spend optimization, and ROI measurement.
- Community Building: Cultivate and nurture online communities, fostering engagement and loyalty, and understanding community dynamics on each platform.
- Experimentation and A/B Testing: Conduct constant experimentation and A/B testing to refine strategies.
- Staying Trend-Savvy: Remain updated with the latest social media trends and platform changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (content creation, brand, growth) to align social media strategies with broader company objectives.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Adapt to changes and persist in the face of challenges in the social media landscape.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6-8 years of experience
- Proven experience in social media strategy and execution.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and content creation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create viral content.
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising.
- Experience in community management and engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
