Social Media Specialist

Are you passionate about Web3 and skilled at managing social media platforms? We're seeking a Social Media Specialist to enhance the Stellar Development Foundation's online presence.

In this role, you'll manage our social media accounts, focusing on consistent and timely posting across platforms. Working closely with our Communication, Digital, and Creative teams, you'll help translate complex blockchain concepts into accessible content that engages both crypto enthusiasts and newcomers. We're looking for an organized individual who can maintain our brand voice while adapting quickly to the fast-paced blockchain industry. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, pivot strategies when needed, and stay on top of digital trends will be crucial. In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand voice and company goals
• Manage social media content calendar across all social channels, including LinkedIn and Twitter
• Work closely with the communication team to understand and prioritize campaigns, product updates, and other key initiatives for social media promotion
• Work closely with the communication team to co-create engaging content across of our channels 
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and reach
• Stay up-to-date with Web3 and blockchain industry trends, incorporating them into our social media narrative
• Engage with our community on Twitter and Discord
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
• Identify and leverage opportunities for thought leadership and industry engagement

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the blockchain sector
• Proven track record of growing and engaging social media communities, especially on LinkedIn and Twitter
• Strong understanding of Web3, blockchain technology, and the cryptocurrency ecosystem
• Build and nurture relationships within the Web3 community and with key stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging social media content
• Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly
