Software Developer

To help us continue our growth, we’re seeking an experienced software developer. This position will be responsible for providing customer facing technical services, support, solution development and implementation services for a portfolio of customer facing engagements. 

These engagements include new customers, pre-sales pursuits, and extending the solution value proposition for a large, existing customer base within our Application Management Services group. As an ideal candidate, you have proven success and experience in delivering technical services in a high growth setting. Your technical planning, management, solutioning and customer services skills are industry leading, and you enjoy pushing innovative boundaries.

Critical Responsibilities:

• Translate customer business and/or training requirements into functional and technical requirements to be realized within the Totara product
• Delivery of implementations including assisting with configuration, customized plugins and integration of the Totara product
• Manage client upgrades to new version releases including upgrade, regression testing, and remediation
• Empower continued client success through the delivery of ongoing enhancements and plugin development
• Provide production support through the review, troubleshooting, and resolution of support requests
• Work closely with DevOps, Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with current standards and guidelines
• Develop documentation for both technical and business level resources
• Support sales team members with new business pursuits through the translation and estimation of prospective client's training requirements into functional Totara solutions that drive business value

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years of experience with Vue 2/3
• 1-3 years of experience with PHP
• 1-3 years of experience with SQL & Data Model Design
• Working experience with Git based source control

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Model View Controller design pattern
• Advanced knowledge of Totara, Moodle, Drupal and/or WordPress Development a strong plus
• Experience working with the Atlassian toolset (Jira and Confluence) a strong plus
• Prior experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus
• Strong business-to-technology translation skills to identify solutions that drive business value
• Exposure to the BeHat Testing Framework
• AWS Services (Code family, Lambda, IAM, ACM, Etc…)

This is a full time, fully remote career opportunity that requires applicants to be in the United States and a U.S. citizen. Some travel may be required.
