Job Description
Our well known financial services client is looking for a Software Developer to join their team ASAP for a 1 year contract assignment with possible extension:

A background check, including fingerprinting, must be completed/cleared prior to starting this assignment.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week being worked onsite at our client’s Southlake, TX office. (2 days per week worked remotely)

What you’ll do:
This position requires developing best practice software systems to support CRM implementation for Retail Salesforce organizations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing technical expertise, analyzing and evaluating code issues, and providing guidance

Designing and developing solutions on the CRM Salesforce platform, integrating with backend systems, and working closely with our development, QA, product teams, and Architects
Sizing and estimating design solutions, evaluating design options, and assessing risks/issues
Actively participating in design review discussions and influencing technical and business teams
Demonstrating technical leadership to ensure the successful implementation of CRM Salesforce projects
Implementing solutions to meet security standards
Analyzing application change impact
Proactively analyzing platform architecture and process improvement
Providing best practice design recommendations on Salesforce platform development
Ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables
Assuming on-call responsibilities and working with the production support team to provide 24/7 support to production systems
What you have:
As a Technical leader, you will have the following skills and experience:

Proven experience in Salesforce design and development (5-7 years)
-
Proven experience leading Salesforce development projects
-
Solid understanding of Salesforce platform features
-
Expertise in Salesforce Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, Visualforce, Apex coding, and batch processing
-
Experience implementing Salesforce UI on Lightning
-
Expertise in the integration of Salesforce with backend systems (synchronous and asynchronous)
-
Experience in automated build deployment
-
Experience in Java/J2EE technology stack and distributed computing
-
Experience with SQL scripts and Unix systems
-
Experience in enterprise integration patterns and security mechanisms
As a senior team member, you will have the following skills and experience:

Ability to lead development projects in an enterprise setup within a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment

Ability to use best practices and knowledge to navigate product delivery

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology and tools

Experience interfacing with business partners at various levels

Demonstrated ability to understand the business functions that the team supports

Ability to work independently as well as the ability to lead/coach junior team members

Responsibility for active team engagement under the guidance of the Tech Lead/Manager

The ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, coupled with a desire to take on responsibilities; solutions-oriented

Experience supporting production operations in a high-availability environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex system interactions to technical and business teams

Strong interpersonal, influencing, prioritization, and decision-making skills
Skills equivalent to 6-10 years in a comparable position.

The candidate will interpret written requirements and technical specifications for software solutions to business problems, develop software based on technical specifications, analyze and investigate problems with software solutions that have been reported by clients, and document the results of their investigations. The candidate will perform software maintenance and correct defects that have been identified during the maintenance process, run unit tests on software they create, implement test plans, use test harnesses, and document the test results. The candidate will investigate and suggest solutions to defects and problems with software solutions that have been detected during testing. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and tier II support of the CRM applications on the Salesforce platform within the Sales and Service Technology portfolio. The CRM Salesforce instance requires integration with several enterprise data domains. As such, experience with enterprise integration patterns and security mechanisms to integrate CRM with backend systems is required. This position will interact with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas of, requiring 24/7 availability to assist production support for all related systems.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.99 to $63.33.
Compensation is based on several factors, including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
