SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

JOB SUMMARY:

The Software Developer is responsible for developing and testing the applications for the Company. This position troubleshoots issues for the customer and modifies the software based on the design of the application. Software Developer works with other members of the development team to provide or receive feedback and provides 1st (initial) level production support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contributes effectively as a member of the Headquarters Supply Chain Management team; takes ownership of individual assignments.
• Develops software solutions by studying issues and conferring with users and team members.
• Responsible for code development, technical documentation, and testing.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring the software meets quality standards.
• Accomplishes mission by completing related tasks, as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Continuously improve coding skills and stay informed about advancements in software development.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

• Experience: 2+ years software development experience. 2+ years' experience using VB and C#, ASP.net, MVC, ASP.net Core, APIs. 2+ years' experience using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL language, writing stored procedures.
• Some experience in web technologies including CSS, JavaScript, HTML.
• Preferred experience developing applications for Android or iOS using Maui.
• Preferred experience developing applications using Blazor.
• Preferred experience working in a JIT Manufacturing industry (Preferred Automotive)
• Preferred Microsoft Certifications.

TRAVEL:

• Travel Required: Minimum

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• General knowledge of object-oriented programming and abstraction.
• General knowledge of professional software development best practices.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.
• Ability to use good judgment in conveying project status and problem escalation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
