Software Developer - Front End (React)

Introduction
In this role you will be involved in the overall development maintenance and transformation/modernization of Frontend primarily in React serving the IBM Controller consolidation business.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Review the business requirements problems. Design Development and Unit Testing of React Applications. Debug the applications in solving complex scenarios. Partner with UX and Business Analysts in arriving at solutions. Support QC activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• The ideal skill set would be 5+ years experience building enterprise applications using React and other Javascript libraries/frameworks. Extremely comfortable with React CSS Build Unit testing and performance improvements. Advantage to have exposure to migrating applications across libraries/frameworks.
• Experience with React Typescript
• Proficiency in state management libraries like RTK MobX React query etc
• Experience with adopting various Design Systems like Carbon/Bootstrap/MUI
• Must know about CSS pre-processors like SASS / LESS .
• Knowledge of build workflows using webpack
• Experience with upgrading/migrating large scale applications across Javascript frameworks
• Must know about design patterns with JavaScript.
• Experience in unit testing tools like Jest React Testing Library Enzyme etc
• Experience with and knowledge of the nuances required in creating cross-browser web applications.
• Experience with version control systems such as Github Agile/Scrum methodology experience
• Experience of having worked in global organisations will be an added advantage”
• Exposure to migration of large scale systems to modern Front End.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Advantage to have exposure to migrating application`s across libraries/frameworks
