Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer to join our team in McLean, VA. The Java Developer will research, design, and implement solutions for challenging problems and participate in product design and planning while maintaining high levels of knowledge, skill, and competencies in software development for an extensive range of project types. They will also:Â
• Translate design requirements and specifications into successful implementations.
• Work in a team environment and share knowledge.
• Design and develop applications using the latest tools and technologies including Java and ASP.NET.
• Support critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and systems.
• Coordinate end to end runs and provide production support and suggest enhancements to existing business applications.
Minimum Required Qualifications:Â
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident is required.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred  with 2 years of experience OR 5-6 years of related work experience.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of prior professional experience including system analysis, software design, and development in Java or related technologies.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with J2EE, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Hibernate3.X.
• Experience developing Web-based applications and web services using Java EE, JSP, JDBC, JavaScript, REST, IBM WebSphere; Spring/Struts, Hibernate, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
•Experience with the following technologies: HTML, EXT-JS, AJAX, XML, Spring, Struts 1.4, REST.
• Experience with IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD).
• Experience with Source Control Management systems, TFS.
• Experience with Oracle UCM.
• Experience with JQuery.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration software build schemes.
• Understanding of Unit Testing and associated frameworks, e.g. JUnit.
• Strong software development skills, with a solid understanding of project cycles, integrated development environments, and source control technologies.
 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong customer service/client facing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines.
• Ability to work well and collaborate with peers in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
 Desired Skills:
• Mobile experience (iOS) is desired.Â
