Team Introduction
The TikTok Engineering Test team has been focusing on testing and delivering innovative and high quality core product features of the app. The team's goal is to facilitate successful release of TikTok features and enhancements from development to production through effective testing delivering continuous quality at speed. The Team comprises of Software Engineers in Test with a mix of experienced and midlevel engineers. The individuals on the team are self-starters drive large scale initiatives within and with peer organizations.

Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the entire system testing process, including but not limited to: analysis, designing and executing test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking.
• Work on project management, risk management, and process management tasks.
• Help implement test tools and collaborate with automation/performance test teams to build up internal tools/frameworks/platforms to make the team more productive.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiar with Java/Python/Objective-C/Golang, experience in related project development.
• Experience with API design & implementation.
• Experience with Git or alternative repository management tools.
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with API Testing.
• Familiar with mobile(Android and/or iOS)/Server(Database, Cache, MQ, etc) architecture is preferred.
• Familiar with mobile UI automation framework is preferred.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
• Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship.
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
