Software Development Engineer in Test (Remote)

• Familiar with modern software architecture such as micro services, event-driven architectures, and containers.

• Can work with people and teams as needed to capture and verify expected behavior of systems under test.

• Able to identify areas of ambiguity in testing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  Required:

• Strong background with Automation Tools (Selenium / Appium / Postman)

• Knowledge of BDD / POM framework, Performance Testing (JMeter / Blazemeter / K6), CICD (Jenkins / Azure DevOps / TestRails), Cloud Mobile solutions (Saucelabs / Browserstack), Programming Experience (Python / Java)

Experience Requirements:

• Experience with test automation technology.

• Experience in software development.

• Experience with working within a test automation team.

• Experience with being responsible for software quality.

 Education Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

As a SDET, You will be:

• Building test frameworks for Web Portals, React-Native Application
• Developing test cases for backend microservices
• Developing testing for our infrastructure integrated with moder CI/CD pipelines
• Working with a highly concurrent event-driven architecture built on microservices and running on kubernetes
• Maintaining and enhancing automated regression test suites

Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy.  Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
