Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an amazing Senior Softwar engineer for a role with a growth opportunity!

You will work in the domain of data observability platform for modern enterprises that’s built by engineers for engineers.

Our mission is to help organizations build better data products and trust in their data. We do that by providing data teams comprehensive visibility into the health of their data pipelines using our SDK and complex monitoring and impact detection platform. Thanks to our deep monitoring they can gain confidence in their quality data and respond proactively to new issues.

We want you to join team and help us with building a product for fellow engineers using a cutting-edge technological stack and the highest engineering standards.Your Role and Responsibilities :
• Leverage your extensive expertise in Python or Java to spearhead the development and evolution of our open-source library dbnd with a laser focus on enhancing the developer experience.
• Manage and mentor a small team of up to 2 engineers ensuring they are aligned with the project goals and delivering high-quality code.
• Collaborate closely with product to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product that adds significant value to our customers.
• Uphold and nurture an exceptional engineering culture that prioritizes the attainment of business objectives within a cutting-edge technology environment.
• Continuously enhance the SDK addressing developer experience challenges and providing a seamless experience for those who use dbnd to integrate with their data pipelines.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Python
• Experience in backend engineering working on SaaS production systems
• Business orientation – understanding the value of the features you are working on and take the right technological decisions to achieve the value
• Experience with designing and implementing a microservices architecture system including different communication patterns such as REST API and event-driven messages
• Experience with massive SQL DBs and dealing with hard performance issues
• Experience in working in a high industry standard CICD and development cycle processes

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Previous involvement in developing SaaS applications adhering to high industry standards for CI/CD processes and development cycles
