CoStar's software developers build products that facilitate 86% of commercial real estate transactions in the United States. These transactions range from a small business owner leasing their first office space to a large multi-national buying a new headquarters campus. On any given day our developers are building products that manage nearly a trillion dollars of potential real estate transactions.
This position is in our Norfolk, VA office and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to two days remote per week. Four day work weeks are also an option for those applicants that are interested.
RESPONSIBILITIES• Build and support distributed, API-driven systems.• Building efficient ETL data pipelines.• Produce robust, efficient, and maintainable code.• Drive and lead software design, development standards, and code reviews.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of relevant experience.• Building Web API's using C#, .NET Framework.• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database programming with TSQL.• Experience with data loading and ETL.• Expert level knowledge of REST API's.• Experience working with NoSQL data stores, MongoDB and Elasticsearch preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS• Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners).• Data modeling experience from conceptual, logical, and physical designs.• Experience working with Docker containers.• Experience with MongoDB, Elastic Search, and Kafka/Confluent.• Experience with WCF Services.
