Software Engineer

In this role, you will...

• Work in a global team, delivering SaaS software on AWS.
• Analyze and assimilate requirements, convey technical specifications, ideas, and solutions concisely and effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance modern responsive web applications/ services to contribute to our legacy and cloud platform using the latest .Net.
• tech stack, React, Typescript, and Microservices architecture on the AWS platform.
• Own your code to production, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Work on projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Code & deliver a working product, with a 'first time right' approach.
• Be responsible for your test coverage, including unit, integration, and automated functional tests.
• Participate in key architectural discussions and design considerations.
• Participate in agile activities like sprint planning, and technical design reviews; provide input as appropriate.
• Triage customer product and technical issues/defects and provide timely resolution with detailed RCA.
• Collaborate with global Engineering, Product, and Release teams, as necessary.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Attitude and experience to learn and build to modernize the current tech stack.
• Should be hands-on with designing, coding, debugging, technical problem solving, prototyping, performance tuning, and unit testing.
• 4-6 years of strong software development experience with C#, ASP.Net, MS SQL, Web API, .Net Core, React, Redux, Typescript, and
  Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server/My SQL. Exposure to other non-relational DBs like DynamoDB is a plus!
• Hands-on experience on the AWS platform with working knowledge of AWS services like EC2, ECS, DynamoDB, AuroraDB, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, etc.
• Exposure to building Single-page applications using React, Angular, etc. React will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Github, bitbucket, etc.
• Strong knowledge of OOPS, SOLID principles, and GOF design patterns.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Conversant in algorithms, software design patterns, and their best usage.
• Should be very good at analyzing and Debugging/Troubleshooting functional and technical issues.
• Should have good insight on Performance/Optimization techniques.
• Good understanding of secure development practices and proactively codes to avoid security issues.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Working experience in Agile practices.
• Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight.
• Good team player who can handle multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Passion for continuous process and technology improvement.

• AWS associate developer level and above certification.
• Experience with DevOps tools and technologies like Jenkins, Docker.
• Experience with continuous delivery.
