About the Team
As a Software Engineer on the Financial Products Engineering team in Brazil, you will be a member of Uber's first Tech Center in LATAM and part of the global engineering team! Our team owns the platforms responsible for building the next generation of Financial Products that will help our customers achieve their life goals. As a critical part of the customer journey, we build engaging products by solving deep technical challenges in problem domains that are specific to Uber's business.

You'll write reliable and maintainable code that teams across the company rely on, and you will collaborate with other team members to design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and features for web applications.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
- +6 y ears full-time Software Engineering/Front End engineering work experience
- Advanced to fluent English Skills
Technical skills
Required:
- Experience building high-quality UI for a wide audience
- Front-end architecture design experience
- HTML, CSS, and React.JS
- Graphql
- Strong product and data sense
Preferred:
- Back-end systems experience (like Go, Python, Typescript etc.)
- A/B testing
- Static typing systems
