Software Engineer II- Identity Management & Security

AvidXchange is seeking a full stack Software Engineer II to build secure NextGen applications across our AvidXchange suite of products.

What you'll do

  • Work together in small, focused Agile teams with other experienced engineers to perform full life cycle applicationdevelopment
  • Build open communication with your Product Owner, Quality Test AutomationEngineers,andfellow Software Engineers to understand and transform business requirements into business-savvyfeatures
  • Solve problems,debugandoptimizecode to ensureoptimumperformance andsecurity
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Technical leads to implementoptimalsolutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability, andscalability
  • Team up with QA to review, approve and design against test cases-ensuring our demanding customers' expectations arefulfilled
  • Other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, andpromoteourvalues
Whatwe'relookingfor

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineeringor related field
  • 3 or more years of .NET software development experience building web-based applicationsOR aMaster'sdegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relatedfield
  • Microsoft development stack: .NET Core, .NET Framework 4.5+, C#, JavaScript,RESTful services, ORM, T-SQL, JSON, MVC, XML, HTML, CSS, Advanced SQL, Git, Azure-based Cloud Architectures
  • Hands-on experience following Agile software development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experiencedesigningsolutions with modern architecture patterns: Microservices, SOA, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Asynchronous Messaging, Service Bus, Event Sourcing, APIs, Web Services
  • Extra bonus points if you have hands on experience with MFA and identity management tools
  • Extra bonus points if you have strong exposure and experience with Okta
