Process Overview

Investment & Banking Solutions Technology team is responsible for Investment Products, Card, Deposits, Consumer Vehicle Lending, Retirement, Lending, US Trust. This team provides wealth management financial solutions to individual & institutional clients and Consumer Banking products. The team delivers technology solutions through robust and scalable applications developed on various platforms such as .Net, SQL Server, Oracle, Java/J2EE, Angular JS and Mainframe. This team constitutes Application development, Testing (functional and automation), Design/Architecture and Business Analysis.

Job Description

• Individual will be working as Oracle Developer for Financial Planning applications in Wealth Management domain. He /She will be involved in development and maintenance activities as per Bank of America standards and guidelines.

• Work with offshore and onshore lead to develop code as per the project need and timelines.

• Participate in dev review of design document and raise dev queries to relevant stakeholder.

• Work with other teams as required for integration of code and fix the integration defects.

• Create design specifications and Unit tests.

• Maintain existing software systems as required.

• Ability to learn new technologies and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors in Computers.
• Certifications If Any: NA.

Experience Range

• 06 to 08 Years.

Foundational Skills

• 4 + year experience as Oracle developer, PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture / SOLID.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to check your work and document your processes on a fixed schedule.
• Working knowledge of Oracle 11g/Oracle 12c added capabilities and functionality.
• 4+ years working with PL/SQL.
• Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL, and parallel processing.
• Experience working with source control.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with Performance tuning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Oracle 11.x/12c/Unix/python.
• Should be good in advance plsql/tuning/UTL feature/ Developer Tools(toad).
• developing PL/SQL Packages, Procedures Functions, Cursors and Triggers.
• Proficient in performance tuning (PL/SQL) using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing and Hints.
• Designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
