Software Engineer - ML

What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Mid-Level Machine Learning Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our in-house LLM-powered chatbot technologies through active research and development. You will be working on the knowledge ingesting and ML-based analytics of the ingested data.
 

Key Responsibilities:

- Technological Vision: Contribute to developing and articulating the technological vision for our in-house chatbot knowledge ingestion, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.

- Core Development: Hands-on contribute to the chatbot knowledge ingestion and monitoring.

- Research and Experimentation: Track and experiment with advancements in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methodologies and evaluation techniques, integrating relevant findings into our work.

- Research Engagement: Participate in bi-weekly machine learning paper review meetings, staying abreast of the latest developments and integrating relevant findings into our work.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in machine learning and/or data engineering projects, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.

- LLM Implementation: Proven experience in implementing LLM-based solutions in production environments, with a deep understanding of the associated challenges and best practices.

- Proficiency in Python: Proficiency in Python and its data wrangling libraries (e.g., Pandas).

- ML skills: Good understading of standard ML algorithms.

- Software Design Principles: Sound understanding of software design principles.

- Algorithm and Data Structures: Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems.

- Adaptability: Quick to grasp new technologies and concepts, staying ahead in a rapidly evolving field.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences in English.
Salary Range: 45,000-65,000 EURO gross (before tax) per annum depending on your competencies, skills and experience
