Software Engineer, Power and Performance Software

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in Silicon power or performance software development.
• Experience with programming languages C, C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Android OS and equivalent other Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of the impact of software and architectural design decisions on power and thermal behavior of the system.
• Knowledgeable of system software components, such as Linux, device drivers, and runtime.

Responsibilities

• Develop Software (SW) and firmware for Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) Architecture focusing on CPU Power Management.
• Produce detailed documentation for the proposed implementation.
• Work on pre-silicon and post-silicon software development and validation for power and performance features.
• Low Power state management and Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS) Management.
• Drive Silicon verification across process, voltage, and temperature.
