Software Engineering Manager, Compute Frontend

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  
• 
  3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  
• Experience working in a changing organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SWEs, focused on a wide range of product lines within the Google Compute Engine team.
• Work with leadership and participate in building the GCP Compute Frontend and Management Solutions organization.
• Work alongside user experience, product management, and partner teams to design and iterate upon features.
• Shape the culture of the team, promoting an inclusive team that values psychological safety.
