Job Description
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an experienced Software Product Manager focused on Sustainability located remotely in the US. If you are passionate about sustainability and supporting the energy transition with digital technologies, this may be the right opportunity for you!
What will you do?
- Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and development of our decarbonization software solutions for enterprise customers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to develop and launch new product features and enhancements that drive customer adoption and success.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for innovation in the decarbonization space.
- Engage with enterprise customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate those insights into actionable product requirements and development priorities.
- Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of our decarbonization software products and inform data-driven product decisions.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for our decarbonization software solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on decarbonization and sustainability, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.

What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Environmental Science, or Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software product management, preferably within the software or sustainability industry.
- Proven track record in developing and managing self-serve products for enterprise customers, with a focus on driving customer adoption, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of decarbonization strategies, technologies, and best practices, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience in defining, tracking, and interpreting product success metrics.
- Passion and expereince within sustainability, decarbonization, and making a positive impact on the environment required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the energy, utilities, or environmental services sectors.
- Knowledge of relevant software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Professional certifications in product management, sustainability, or related fields.
