Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a SW Programmer in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Positions will be based at global Army training site in Orlando, FL. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities• The Software Programmer develops and maintains a PPSS issues tracker, including forwarding software trouble reports to the appropriate PPSS/PDSS office or PdL APM. • This role also entails the acquisition and tracking of commercial software licenses as specified in the TDL and maintaining a current inventory of software and hardware baselines for impacted data processing systems. • Additionally, maintaining operational capabilities by rectifying defects discovered in the field and ensuring IA compliance is a critical responsibility. • The Software Engineer manages adjustments to software driven by COTS releases, ensuring continuous integration and functionality, and conduct thorough regression testing for Government-furnished software patches/updates across TADSS versions and variants, including documentation of test procedures, results, and detailed reports of deficiencies and anomalies. • Furthermore, they participate in establishing and operating an integrated software development lab with the directed clearance level, offering a Help Desk for lab support as needed in support of PPSS, PDSS, and Integration Lab Support. • Lastly, the role involves developing recommendations for the strategic management of TADSS in or out of CPF 11 based on deployment/recovery schedules, training readiness, and TADSS utilization.

Minimum Qualifications

15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
