Job Description
Summary:
CallMiner’s QA team is seeking an experienced software tester who is passionate about quality. As a member of our fantastic team, you will work closely with fellow QA team members, Engineering teams, and Product teams in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution.
Responsibilities:
- Create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases with a high standard of accuracy.
- Identify test requirements from specifications & map test case requirements.
- Maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, and harness scripts.
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately.
- Troubleshoot and triage defects during the testing process to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Backend testing which may include database validating stored procs, jobs and triggers, utilizing queueing systems, reviewing logs, or using other tools to confirm the software is working properly.
- Work closely with other QA, Engineering, and/or Product team members.
- Work with other QA and Automation team members to ensure adequate test coverage for all releases.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Sound organizational and planning skills with a solid attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and juggle many concurrent tasks eloquently
- Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with API testing
- Experience with databases such as SQL and MongoDB
- Experience with tools like Postman, Fiddler, Wireshark, JMeter
- Have an eagerness for learning and a desire to stay up to date with QA best practices
Requirements
Minimum Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of relevant QA testing concepts and processes including technical testing experience
- Experience with Agile testing practices
- Experience with Jira and TFS is a plus
