Job Description

THIS IS A 6-9 MONTH CONTRACT ENGAGEMENT and requires 3 days of onsite work in Riverwoods, IL. 

 We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with a specialization in Customer Data Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, particularly in data management and digital marketing technologies, with a proven track record of successfully implementing Customer Data Platforms (CDPs). As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust data architectures to meet our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive data management solutions, with a focus on Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
• Evaluate and select appropriate database architectures, including Graph, Relational, and NoSQL databases, considering their implications on business objectives and data privacy regulations.
• Define and implement application data architectures that facilitate seamless data integration, enhance data quality, and support effective decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies that align with project goals and client expectations.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and customer data platforms, and share knowledge with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture, with a significant focus on data management, digital marketing technologies, and CDP implementation.
• Expert knowledge of various database technologies (Graph, Relational, NoSQL) and their applications in customer data management.
• Demonstrated capability to evaluate and select database architectures, with a comprehensive understanding of their impacts on business objectives.
• Strong foundation in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes, with familiarity in data integration and quality tools.
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and their implications on database and CDP architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of CDP vendors, features, capabilities, and best practices.
• Proven hands-on CDP implementation history.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
