Solutions Engineer
We are looking to hire an experienced Solutions Engineer to work alongside our passionate sales and customer success teams. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for Onboarding and Presales activities including technical software demonstrations, responding to RFPs/RFIs, creating proposals on how to overcome technical problems, creating customized solutions that meet the client’s needs, project managing a new client’s onboarding process, conducting A/B Tests and providing best practices in order to help the client generate more revenue.
To ensure success as a Solutions Engineer, you should have an excellent understanding of web and marketing systems, such as CRMs, web infrastructure, web analytics, and data management. Additionally, Solutions Engineers are relied upon to work with representatives from varying client-side departments, such as IT, marketing, fundraising and executive teams, so consultative communications skills and patience are a must. Ultimately, a top-notch Solutions Engineer drives sales by creating specialized solutions tailor-made to the customer's needs, thus expediting the sales process. An ideal candidate is a problem-solver, autonomous, organized, and motivated individual looking for an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of Salesforce experience
- 1+ years of front-end website development (HTML/CSS)
- 2+ years of marketing technology experience
- Sales and/or Presales experience
- Demonstrated ability to architect and communicate the optimal solution to prospects, existing customers, and internal team members
- Comfortable discussing issues of scale and fostering innovation in a dynamic technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence customer stakeholders including C-level
- Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical consulting, software development, systems administration, or technical sales
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Supporting your team through strenuous objections and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Support and Product to ensure progress on deals and successful and timely onboardings
- Tailoring onboarding programs around the needs of each stakeholder
- Ability to support multiple customers in presales and onboarding at any given time
- Being a good team player and teammate.
