About the Job: 

Qt Group is seeking a dynamic Solutions Engineer, QA to join our Solutions Engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role by providing pre-sales technical support to regional sales teams. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering compelling technical presentations and engaging demonstrations of our Qt Quality Assurance products. Additionally, you will actively participate in every facet of the technical sales process.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to connect with stakeholders at the Director and VP levels of Engineering, showcasing the exceptional value of our Test Automation products as well as Static Code and Software Architecture Analysis tools. Your role will be crucial in aiding customers to effectively address their development challenges and achieve impactful business outcomes through a consultative sales approach.

You will:

  • Prepare and demonstrate QA Tools functionality for a variety of target environments (Qt-based, Windows, Mac, Mobile, Embedded Linux, VNC).
  • Develop expertise in software testing practices.
  • Prepare structured plan to guide customers through evaluation process.
  • Travel to assist customers with installation and configuration of products where required.
  • Provide strategic and senior level product presentations, demonstrations, and trade show support.
  • Follow up on prospects and accounts for functional/technical issues related to sales cycle and guarantee a successful customer experience.
  • Manage product evaluations and prepare RFP/RFI responses

About You: 

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of software quality assurance processes.
  • Experience in development or quality assurance of embedded applications (C/C++).
  • Experience in a scripting language, ex: Python.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
  • Knowledge of build tools, ex: CMake, Make, Bazel, BitBake, etc
  • Excellent presentation, demonstration and facilitation skills in leading meetings, trials and projects.
  • Experience with the creation, customization, and delivery of presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ technology or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience in testing of safety-critical software projects (ex. Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Medical, …) and familiarity with underlying methods, processes, and standards (e.g. ISO26262, IEC62304) a plus

  • Must take initiative and be a proactive member in the sales team.
  • Capable of leading deep-dive technical discussions.
  • Team player with interpersonal skills to work with sales and technical staff in a dynamic and innovative company environment.
  • Very good business understanding.
