OUR ROLE
Join our Supply Chain Sourcing team as an Sourcing Manager, where your expertise will drive strategic initiatives across the Americas. In this role, you'll lead the charge in optimizing categories like capital equipment, facilities services, transportation, and MRO. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you'll craft and execute category strategies, conduct meticulous tendering processes, and cultivate robust supplier relationships. Your analytical skills and knack for navigating ambiguity will be instrumental in uncovering cost-saving opportunities and managing complex scenarios with finesse. This position is based in Middleton, WI, US and reports to our Regional Senior Sourcing Manager, Americas, Drew McBride. The role is full-time and is a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT FISKARS
Responsibilities:
- Develop category strategies and contribute to overall sourcing strategies.
- Lead execution of category strategies, including supplier evaluation, tendering, and contract negotiation with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate Supplier Relationship Management by conducting regular business reviews with key suppliers.
- Prepare business cases and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Manage external supply risks within assigned categories.
- Contribute to the development of sourcing processes and tools.
- Manage sourcing development projects effectively.
WHO YOU ARE
Education, experience, + knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- 5+ years of sourcing experience, including negotiation and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Proficient in managing interactions with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication, change management skills, and resilience.
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations and convert data into actionable insights.
- Experience in sourcing strategy, supply chain management, cost and price management, and advanced Excel skills.
- Competent in communication, organization, analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable working in an international and changing environment, adaptable to change, and able to recognize and develop new processes.
- Prefers team-oriented settings.
- Fluent in English.
